Role of FLOTUS

I napped through the Presidential Address, but, that is ok, I watched the preview of it this morning on Fox News.   Donald Trump gave himself an A on his Presidency thus far.   I never knew that was grading one's own work was an actual option.

Regardless, I know how the First Lady is going to influence the conversation of America during her term.  The First Lady has traditionally had an important role in America and has caused Americans to advance causes of social justice issues.

It is clear to me now what Melania is going to contribute.   She is going to advance the conversation about common sense decorum.   I see that she is going to lead the way on this issue but actively showing us what is not appropriate.

First of all, black sequins are appropriate for nights out clubbing.   It is not appropriate attire for a speach to the Joint Houses of Congress.

Also, if you are showing the equal amount of cleavage that the models are in the Sports Illustrated Issue, then, that likely is too much cleavage in any other circumstance.

If the middle slit on your skirt is more than 36 inches, then you may want to consider this option for a less formal affair.

Wearing an inappropriate seductive outfit trivializes the whole concept of an Address to Congress.

God bless America.

  1. Her class matches her mates. I am sorry for the U.S., they obviously have a First Family who puts themselves first and their roles as POTUS and FLOTUS as a kind of secondary hobby. Between the golf games and the fact that she is not willing to move into the White House until maybe July does not speak of a family who is putting their people and their country first.
