Shady Land Deal

About a month ago, my partner attended a Steven Fletcher form where he was going to explain how he was going to put a stop to the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre being built on the land of the abandoned Vimy Arena.  It turns out that he wasn't quite prepared yet, but he was working on a document that would conclusively show that it was a shady deal and once this document was released, it would be definitive that the BORC plans would be scrapped for good.  More than two weeks has passed.  I must have missed the report, but, I am still curious to see it.  If the report exists, please send it to me or tell me where I can pick it up.  Steven Fletcher said it would be out so it much exist.

Apparently, I am not the only one who has not seen this report.  The ground-breaking ceremony will be held on August 22.  If my math is correct, that will be 9 days from today.

Also, in the news, a new group has been formed that will handle leaders debates.  It is head by former Governor-General David Johnson.  The news today was that Maxime Bernier has not been invited to the two up-coming debates.  The rationale is that his rip off party from the Conservatives has no reasonable chance of electoral success.  They only have a chance of getting one elected seat.  How can that be true?  Steven Fletcher is running for that party in the riding of SJCAH. Actually, according to him, he is running for election of that seat.  Surely, he will win that seat hands down.  He has so much support.  He gets along well with himself.  He has a proven track record of not working well with others.  How can he not be elected?

It turns out that there are four outstanding candidates running in this riding in addition to be elected.  Rather than concentrate on the negatives, these four are out to show the electorate new ideas and positive things about themselves that they have accomplished.

Even with his definitive shady land report, (that doesn't exist), he will face an uphill battle to finish fourth.

August 22 is going to be a celebration when ground is broke and the Bruce Oake Foundation is launched.  In addition to being a very happy day, it will be a bittersweet day for the Oake family.  I hope Steven Fletcher has enough class to stay away and perhaps campaign, not that it will make any difference for him.
