Professional Athletes Response Explained
People don't understand how multi-millionaire athletes are making political statements that have nothing to do with their sports. They are supposed to be playing their games and not getting involved with things that have nothing to do with them.

Secondly, they may athletes but they are also citizens of the world. I like to think it is our civic duty when we see something wrong to say something. We have been encouraging all citizens of the world to use their megaphone for promoting change.
Many of our athletes have responded. We have seen the WNBA, the NBA leading the way using their voices to talk about racial strife. We have also seen examples of such now in the MLB and NFL.
After using their platform and taking tremendous personal risks to do so, how are these athletes being rewarded? Well, a black man was shot 7 times in the back while three of his children watched.

And, then a 17 year old white male has an assault weapon. That is enough right there, but there is more. The 17 year old white male seems comfortable enough to post on social media his love of guns and how to take them apart and put them back together. That is enough right there, but there is more. This 17 year old white male goes across state lines with his assault weapon in the middle of the night. That is enough there, but there is more. The 17 year old white male shoots random people and kills one. That is enough there, but there is more. The 17 year old, with an assault rifle, approaches the police with his hands up after shooting civilians, presumably to turn himself in. That is enough there, but there is more. The police completely ignore him and drive by without asking him a question. He has now been arrested but had to be returned to Wisconsin from Illinois to face the charges.
Can you understand why our professional athletes don't really want to "play for our entertainment: at this time.
