Kevin Martin Can't Be Wrong

It is sort of coming down to the wire and I am getting concerned.  Last weekend, curling fans may recall that there was a roster change.  Between blogging about it and reading every comment on every forum on social media managed to completely occupy my weekend.  I was able to successfully avoid doing housework, decorating for Christmas, Christmas shopping, Christmas baking as well as sleep.  I was completely occupied.  If you have never spent a whole weekend obsessed with curling, well, you probably are much more emotionally stable than I am.  It was an emotional roller coaster and I was just starting to level out when Kevin Martin told me on his curling podcast that once the first roster change happens, it sets off a domino effect and there are multiple roster changes for the next 10-14 days.

I had really high hopes that this would happen.  I was really hoping to another curling fanatic busy weekend.  But, no changes are happening.  I might have to give up hope and do some of the tasks that are required when you are an adult and have a regular life.

So, it turns out that there is a good time to make roster changes and that is off season.  Other than that, it seems that when there is last than three weeks to Christmas, that is a really bad time to make roster changes.

Greetings of the season and cheers !!
